• Be eligible for VIGA grants & scholarships. Beginning in 2022, VIGA has offered various grant and scholarship awards awards for qualified VIGA members. To see past awardees, click here.

• Get on the Map If you have a farm stand, you will be included on the farm stand map, which is updated weekly from April to October and is published online and in printed versions. You will also be included in the weekly newsletter with an audience of ~1300 with what you have for sale that week, increasing your exposure and informing your customers.

• Lifetime Access to VIGA Mail: VIGA Mail provides you with direct connection to other growers, consumers, and crafters around the island. This email list is comprised of hundreds of members and you will have access to the knowledge that they have. You can ask them questions, look for extra materials, and connect within the community.

• Bulk Ordering Access: Save on growing with group, bulk orders like seeds, fertilizer, and supplies. These bulk orders are organized using VIGA Mail.

• Receive Alternative Currencies: If you have a farm stand, you are able (and required) to accept our alternate currencies. These currencies increase your income and increase access to local food for your customers!

• Access to Food Preservation Equipment: VIGA has through a KCD awarded grant commercial grade dehydrators and vacuum sealers available for rent and commercial grade freeze-driers available for usage.

• Access to Agricultural Tool Library: VIGA has a small but expanding agricultural tool library available for VIGA member usage.

• Vending at VIGA Table: Throughout the farmer’s market season, VIGA hosts a co-op table where we vend produce for starting or backyard farmers without the commitment of a weekly booth.
